The "Museum of European Garden Art" was established as part of EUROGA 2002 and installed in the east wing of Schloss Benrath, a beautiful summer castle near Düsseldorf, once inhabited by the cousin of Napoleon Bonaparte. I was invited to join the art-historians of the new museum in the making to create a virtual tour all over Europe, covering the most important landmarks of European garden art. The video-installations have become a central element of the permanent exhibition. From time to time I visit the museum to escape the hectic of modern life and enter these virtual gardens...
